Worcester Brotherhood

The Club was founded in 1930 the congregational Church in Angel Street was the starting point with members claiming objects of the formation was to make facilities for them and other people
To play bowls.
The year was 1943 when the first records of rules were recorded no other records were found prior to that year.
The club was affiliated to The County Association in 1938
In 1939 the County Association approved a Bowlers annual service in the Angel Street Church on the first Sunday prior to the opening of the Season this apparently was held for the next Twenty years.
The first President of the club was G.W.Foss he held that position for Ten years.
The club had many of the members obtaining successes in International, National, and County levels.
