Worcester County Ground

The Worcestershire County Cricket ground was the place that held the clubs first games playing in front of the cricket pavilion this was the instigation of the clubs name.

In 1899 Cricket club members formed The County Ground Bowling club and the members were only accepted from cricket club members. The club eventually opened up the members selection to Gentlemen not fully members and the club grew from strength to strength.
1919 a balance sheet shows a donation given by the Cricket club of £25 to form the WBA.
The club joined the County association in 1931 and in 1937 moved to Cripplegate park.(The new Corporation greens)
